hassle-free blvd. across from hassle-free blvd. life is sweet at the edge of a razor with the human factor pushed to it's maximum permissible working pressure I lose my mind for the very last time bound to an arrest thinking not my mind is blank I pick up the morning news need to cash a check I feel like a hundred years old though I hoped I would never make 30 my mistress is my junk never part of the crowd she mixes the bitter with the sweet now rolling the dice I know lady luck finally smiled at me

circus circus the stakes are getting high no one smokes no one reads no one tells a lie they all just try to get away and just as they're about to leave they feel total need total need to fill their brains with junk-ridden phantasies about the newest latest about the latest hype the air is cool the mist is gone you can drink blue water from the sky and a thousand hungry clocks tick away in total boredom they leave you blank for you can only hear their tick tock and it never ends there is only two single events in a man's life the starting and the stopping of the clock completely de-anxietized I'm sitting behind my desk building little wooden boxes out of bamboo to hide my flesh in them the flesh I left behind a long time ago which one day will save me from being recognized as the one who always tried hard but never succeeded the one who had his whole life laid out perfectly straight right in front of him the wife the kids the suburban single family home the car the patio furniture and the carefully tailored lawn in front of the house with a little stick-in-the-ground-sign saying "no ballplaying here!" it was one of the greatest lovestories of all times brought to great hights visually arresting like bomshell beauties stripping for emerging executives who explore sustainable marketing strategies I hung all that together with my flesh and went for a swim god knows how I hated the lawn in front of the house green through all seasons green to an extent as if ants had carefully arranged green sequin on a million threads piece by piece and laid them out symmetrically laid them out on the ground the whole ordeal now shimmering in the morning sunlight these are early impressions of a breakup

golden ash eyes open debris of one thousand hours shoes tied mouth open wide goodbyes along the way to the station on the ticket it says these tracks lead straight to your dream if you're lucky you will see where they end take this train but be aware that you can never leave eyes open key to all riddles dream come true but I can't live it next thing I know is I'm sitting again with my head in my hands sipping coffee thinking hard about how to get out I catch a plane I try again just to stumble over debris I've sowed when I felt golden ash in my eyes diamonds glistening in the light of another lost moment

crue cut tony, the executive type tries to jump out of the window and just as he’s about to fall he circumvents some of the causes of his current situation he falls like a dead bird in a dark street a boat anchor passing through heavy traffic with piss yellow taxi cabs rushing uptown chorus: jump jump jump pray for pills jump jump jump hope for yellow hills to vaccinate your brain fill it up with de-anxietizing grain two flights down the iron stairs crooning over a spoon of grains not forcing him to make a move he doesn’t wanna make is tony long fingers jumping out of a window and just tries to jump some of the causes leaves the glass cuts the window

trip with me trip with me can't stand a chance turn on the post only sane man I am the action you see moonlit nights that rip your heart out and eat it stories flare in the west in a ruined war warehouse roof of tinfoil tarnished mirror I return a cigarette to absent tenants see the reflection despair and death of myself I'm immune against fear got a rugged face need the practice of cruelty and a shave addicted sleep in heavenly purple color a smooth yellow face lips a blue hypersuspicion distant mumble unrecognizable on hearing it again a voice the moon shines and I have no native language thunder not you're lost it's friday night streetlife of a place forgotten clouds men in the world feel the earth move sleep in attempted god-head wake to the intervened and utterly failed heavenly peace outside a misty landscape fog seeps pattern of rain I feel the rainfall and sorrow in the air days go they can't stay better stick to your dreams cause there's poor human hearts pounding everywhere

about

Dead on Arrival is a one man theater play. The protagonist (Tony) is a well established businessman who, over the sip of an espresso at an airport, becomes fully aware of his life as sold to the devil in form of suburban house, wife, kids and the overall comfortable lifestyle he never wanted for himself. In one second while sipping espresso all his nightmares, dreams and unfullfilled whishes become a reality. Will he be able to continue or will he leave his life behind?
